Anytime Junk — the family behind Halifax's junk removal

We're a Halifax family business, operating since 2023 — you deal with a small local team from the first call to the pickup, and the owner is one phone call away. No call centers, no franchise fees baked into your price, no upselling scripts. Just two big trucks, a two-person crew on each, and upfront pricing you can check yourself before you ever talk to us.

We price by volume — the space your junk takes up in our truck — with every quote confirmed in writing on-site before any work begins. All labour, fuel and disposal fees are included. We're a registered Nova Scotia company with $2M liability insurance. And we beat any written quote for the same job from a comparable company by 5% — bring us a competitor's written price and we'll do better.

From our own job logs: most pickups land between a ¼ and ½ truck load — typically the $295–$625 range.

Junk removal is the core of it — furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics and everything in between. Around that we handle full house, estate and apartment cleanouts, light demolition — decks, sheds, hot tubs, playsets — and commercial work, including recurring accounts for property managers and pre-sale cleanouts for realtors.

Not sure what your job counts as? Use the 2-tap service finder or build an instant estimate — no phone call needed.

Usable furniture and household items are donated to local Halifax charities where possible. Electronics go to a Recycle My Electronics drop-off, cardboard and metals get recycled, and only what can't be reused or recycled goes to disposal. Hazardous materials — paints, chemicals, propane — are among the few things we can't take; our what we don't take page lists where to bring them safely.
