How much does appliance removal cost in Halifax?
Appliance removal starts at $135 — or as little as $110 when you book online and add a quick photo (save up to $25). The exact price depends on the appliance's size, how many you have and access, confirmed before we start. HST is additional.
What appliances do you take?
We remove washers, dryers, dishwashers, stoves and ovens, microwaves, range hoods and more. We also handle fridges, freezers and AC units — see Fridge, Freezer & AC Removal.
Do you disconnect the appliance, or do I?
We unplug it and carry it out. Please turn off and disconnect gas and any hardwired power before we arrive, and the same goes for water lines: for a washer, dishwasher or plumbed fridge, please shut off and disconnect the water line yourself before we arrive.
Do you take gas stoves and gas dryers?
Yes. Please make sure the gas supply is shut off at the valve before we arrive — once it's off and the line is disconnected, our crew carries the appliance out and hauls it away.
Can you get a washer or dryer out of a basement or upstairs?
Yes. Our two-person crew removes heavy appliances from basements, upper floors and garages. Stairs and difficult access can affect the quote, so tell us about them when booking.
Do you recycle the old appliance?
Yes. Appliances are hauled away and taken for responsible recycling where possible, rather than simply dumped. Anything containing refrigerant — fridges, freezers, AC units and dehumidifiers — goes to a facility that recovers the refrigerant before the metal is recycled.
Do you remove several appliances at once?
Yes. We can take one appliance or a full set in a single trip — pricing is based mainly on how much truck space the load uses.
Can you remove appliances the same day?
Often, yes — we offer same-day and next-day service across HRM, seven days a week. Call 902-609-8989 or book online and we'll find you the earliest slot.
Do I have to be home for an appliance pickup?
If the appliance is accessible — a garage, porch, curb or unlocked unit — we can often handle it without you there. Just leave access instructions when you book.
Do you take fridges, freezers and AC units too?

Do you remove built-in appliances like wall ovens and cooktops?
Yes. We remove built-in wall ovens, cooktops and other installed appliances. Have any hardwired power or gas supply turned off and disconnected first, then our crew handles the removal — send a photo when booking so we come prepared.
Do you protect floors and doorways?
Yes. Our crew takes care easing heavy appliances through doorways and hallways, and works to avoid marking floors, walls or trim.
